Ayun Dance, the Vitality of Life.

A dance movement experience to nurture individual creativity, to re-energize the body and mind through the joyful act of dancing freely. To dance is to cultivate inner vitality, best developed by connecting with our environment, nature, and by being connected with others. During this session we use world music, our imagination and inspirational language to “feel” our bodies in motion.

The way we move is the way we feel.

Ayun Core for Strength, Balance, and Grace.

A wholistic movement practice to care for the body, calm the mind, and develop self awareness. This program covers Fundamentals of body movement to increase body awareness and improve posture during physical training and for daily life; Stability in Motion, we train to move efficiently both in and out of our base of support, and remain fluid; Multidimensional-movement, working with planes and levels to improve speed and agility, spacial awareness, balance and coordination; Foot Care, to become aware of unconscious foot habits and strengthen neuromuscular structures of the foot and ankle to improve their flexibility, stability and power; Creative Movement, we put the skills learned into practice by following sequences of creative movement patterns; and we conclude the session with a BreathWork Practice, an accessible tool to regulate our Central Nervous System to ground us in the present moment.

During this session we use props such as bolsters, balance balls, resistance bands and towels.
